Though Mom lost her battle with colorectal cancer in November 2007, she had already fought her way through too many of life's other challenges and won. She blessed us with her love, grace, perseverance, intelligence, unwavering standards, and ridiculous humor. She is missed more than words can express. I'm writing a book about her remarkable life, and plan to compile her works as well.
